    hi all,
when using the new cinestyle color profile for canon DSLR’s they recommend you apply a LUT file when editing. The footage looks good when I use LUT Buddy from red giant software to do so, however I find that copy and paste attributes doesnt carry over the LUT to the next clip.. only the LUT buddy effect and I need to keep importing the LUT every time.

Could someone confirm whether its possible to batch apply this LUT file without exporting the whole timeline, reimporting the resulting video and applying the LUT to that?

    Many thanks

Add the CineStyle LUT to the effect and save as a preset. That should make it a little less annoying when you add it next.

but you’d still have to select each clip manually wouldnt you?

is there no way to apply the 5D cinestyle LUT to all clips on a timeline in one step? This is the only thing putting me off of using it..

You could make the timeline a nested sequence and add the LUT.

thats a very good idea. Not used nested sequences before but from what I read it’s quite straightforward.

    Great idea. thanks.
