    hello all

how can i get it so that the animation preset Globe Rays creates the effect on a picture?

i am trying to stylize a picture to have the same light coming through effect that the globe rays does.

i put the animation preset on a picture, i get a blue ball with light leaking out from it, very cool, but i want my picture to look like that. 🙁

i looked for something in the effects the preset puts on the layer to see if i needed to change a source setting of some kind. nothing.

i put the effects on a solid, rather than the picture and now i see a problem. i am trying to create a volumetric light effect that eminates from my picture.

    how?
