using gain on the audio track
How do you use the gain on the audio timeline…..i know you drag it down to change it but do you just usually leave it on the same setting all the time and just use the audio envelope to adjust sound? Thanks

Yes. Use a Volume Envelope to adjust sound levels variably. If the entire track needs to be raised or lowered a set amount, then you can use the track level volume slider for that.
