Using footage captured via Media Composer Adrenaline
Can footage that is captured through a Media Composer Adrenaline system be imported into Vegas? We have several decks – DVCAM, Beta SP, DVCPro50, etc. – that all digitize through the Adrenaline. I realize that Vegas will not be able to directly capture but once the footage is digitized via the Adrenaline (in Media Composer), can it be dragged into Vegas and worked with like any other captured footage? Has anyone done this before and if so what are the potential problems I might run into?
I’m in an Avid-only shop right now and and am pushing to get Vegas installed on our editing machine but I want to make sure that this workflow is possible. We also have DV & HDV cameras but without the money to purchase the Decklink I want to ensure that all forms of footage can be incorporated into Vegas without any hitches.

Fish around the AVID website, download/install the AVID codecs for Adrenline, you should be good to go.
