I have an older Mac Pro that won’t run Resolve 9 so I’m still using 8.2. When I output an XML from FCP X, it is xml version 1.2, and Resolve says it will only support versions 1.0 and 1.1.

Is there any workaround for this?

    I’m afraid not.

Which model of Mac Pro are you using?

Can you try importing the XML into final cut 7 and then export and edl from there? You might have to collapse footage into one track to make it useful.

Thanks, I’m sure that would work, but I’m hoping to find a more direct way of doing it.
