  • Using “Emerge” type animation

    Hi everyone…

I’ve been trying to use the AE 6.5/Mac type animation “Emerge” with no success. The type just pops on. I’ve looked around for documentation explaining this feature but cannot find any. Any help, or directions where to find help, are greatly appreciated. I’ve been using AE for a while but would not consider myself a power user.

    Thanks!

Hey Mike. I took a quick look and it appears that the stroke thickness is what’s being animated on. I think you have to use a font that will fill in and be readable when it has just stroke turned on. Try using a thin font.

I also am having this problem. The text just pops up instead of ’emerging’. I tried using different font with bold on and off but to no luck. Are there any other settings I need to play around with?
