  • Using digital camera stills.

Posted by Dick Ziegler on November 16, 2005 at 11:19 pm

I would like to combine digital camera stills with my video. I am running Premiere Pro 1.5 and Matrox RTX100 with a 2.6 Intel processing chip and 1.5 gigs of ram. When I attempt to unite the stills and video on my timeline, I get the typical Adobe Premiere crash. Before using the stills I reduce their size to 720 x 480 pixels.

This doen’t seem to be a “brain surgery” type of procedure.

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks!

Weird to me. I have done these before and Premiere won’t crash.
How do you import your photos into Premiere?… as BMP, jpeg…?
    I do as BMP.

Crashes are only typical when you have a Matrox card.

I import them as jpg images. Tried again and was able to put one on the timeline but if I attempt to string a series . . . crash.
