  • Using Dice precom in Particular V2 particles

    Hello all
I have created a dice in AE by precomp’ing 6 layers (1 for each face). I added a wiggly() function on each of the 3 axis so that the dice rotates in all directions as i scrub the timeline.

I then created a solid and applied the Particular effect to it. Under particles i selected sprite and select the Dice precomp for the layer. I have a solid to act as a table to bounce the dice on. And lastly i selected Grid for the emitter type.

    My questions are:
    1. how do i make the dice particle stop sliding on the table after a sec or so?
    2. how do i stop the dice particle from spinning (do i need to set a time function back in the Dice Precomp)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
    Robert
