I’m archiving these episodes that are QT files, (24 minutes a piece)

I exported them from FCP, and am using Compressor.
These files are 10 GB approx. each. I have about 12 of them, and I was wondering how I would be able to put these on a data DVD (4.5GB), for archiving.

I have a firewire external drive (500GB), It’s what we use for capturing footage. I would like to remove these QT files from this drive, as they make up about 100GB combined.

I can see that I have to make the files MPEG-2, but am not too sure about the mechanics of Compressor. I’m reading the Preview help file, but still would like some assistance.

Any help on this matter, as usual would be HUGE.

    Thx
    Dez
