Using Caption Assistant to caption Window Media Files
I am running a trial version of Vasst Caption Assistant. My project involves adding closed captions to window media files, .wmv files.
I have captioned .wmv in Vegas before, just using the “INSERT” command marker as a TEXT. When wmv files are rendered, this produces a caption panel below the Window Media Player, and the captions play there.
Using Caption Assistant I don’t have the option to make the Command Markers as TEXT, just 608CC1, CC2, CC3, 608CC4. the captions don’t play out in Windows Media Player. I can click on individual command markers and edit the marker to be TEXT. This works except spaces show up as [br] characters, and each marker has to be edited one at a time. Any solutions to make Caption Assistant work to caption .wmv files?
