  • Using bevel layer style in AE causes flickering / scintillating

    Hi folks,

I’m using the bevel layer style to create some chiseled looking text.

The problem is, when I animate it in a scene, there are lines which kind of dance around the surface making it unusable.

My setup is text in a precomp -> style applied to pre-comp.

I can reduce the effect by making the text rounder, but this is not what I need.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Moog

precompose again with “move all atributes inside..” option. Animate this new comp. Layers styles are applied after all transformations so they should allways be pre-comp’d.
