  • Using an Adobe After Effects comp to create a menu in Adobe Encore?

Posted by Nery Romero on February 10, 2013 at 12:49 am

I’ve been trying to use a motion menu I created in After Effects in Encore, by using Dynamic Link, but I can’t get it to work. I’ve tried google but I can’t find anything to make it work.
After I drop the comp into Encore I right click and go on New > Menu and click it. I get a blank menu so I drag the comp into the blank screen and get this…

Obviously I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this because I have no idea. Thank you 🙂

Alt-drag to an open part of the menu (for you, any part).

When you drag, Encore creates a button, a timeline from the asset, and links the timeline to the button.

    Thank you 🙂
I can’t believe it was that easy. I feel a little silly now haha.
