    Hi,

I’m new to both after effects and this forum. I’m doing a project on gait analysis for school and need to analyze a video to extract the x and y coordinates of three tracking points on a person’s leg. These coordinates will then be used to calculate the angles we need for our experiment.

I know After Effects has a motion tracking feature, but was wondering if it was possible to extract the x y coordinates of each track point for each frame.

And if that is not already a built-in feature, what would a script to do this look like?

    Thanks for the help 🙂

If you use Mocha for the motion track, you can export the track data as a text file.

    Hi Diana,

Thanks for the tip. Is there an open source version of this? Student on tight budget 😛

    Thanks,
