I recently created an effect using Boris RED 3GL similar to the Sands of Time. After rendering the clip using the highest quality settings, I reviewed the final product using Windows Media Player and the quality was very good as expected. However, when I brought the clip into my Vegas 6 timeline and performed the Vegas rendering using the MPEG2 DVD Architect (best) settings, the video quality was good except for the Boris rendered clip, which was very jittery and not as fluid as before. Seems like a frame rate anomoly, but I can’t seem to sort it out. Any thoughts?

What format did you put on the timeline? Field order?

Try setting “Reduce interlace flicker” – right click on event and select properties for this

    Cheers
