Activity Forums Boris FX Using a motion tracker to blur

I have to blur aa large portion of a shakily shot piece, and I’m wondering if there is a way to use Boris FX to lock on to the object in question to maintain the blur over the bad filming.

I don’t have any experience doing this in BCC, so I’m not sure which effect would apply.

I’m working on an Avid MC3 platform, and I’m not sure if that has anything that could work with this either.

    Thanks.

You can always contain the blur with either a spline shape mask or the pixelchooser mask and then use the motion tracker to lock the mask onto the shape.

    Hope this helps.

    Peter.
