using a layer as a mask for another layer
help– i’ve gone online and just can’t figure this out. i have two layers in photoshop– one is my primary image layer. the second layer is a grungy texture. i want to use the grungy texture layer as a mask for the primary image layer… so the primary image “disappears” where the darkness of the grunge is… hopefully giving my primary image a weathered, grungy look.
this should be easy to do but i can’t figure it out for the life of me!
thanks so much for your help.
