I have a human character that has been imported to cinema with a full skeleton from Daz3d and was wodnering if its possible to import animations to the rigg the same way you can do if you rigg a character using the character builder in cinema?

only reason i havent just used the charatcer builder myself is i always mess it up and thought having a pre made one would be easyier

    Hi Andrew,

If you mean importing the character with animation from DAZ, I don’t think that’s possible even with the paid plugins available on the internet its developers are talking only about providing transfer of rigged characters, including their geometry, textures.

only reaosn im using daz to rigg it is ive never been able to do it properly myself i can do most things but not the hands they have always defeated me

Thanks Andrew for the clarification, It’s hard to say if this will work without any problems, especially if you’re someone who cares about fine details or if your project requires close observation of movements with the camera zoomed in. However, you may have to give it a try to see for yourself.

    I hope this helps.
