I’m working on a project that was shot using multiple Sony EX1Rs – the audio captured with the cameras was 48K. There was also an external mixing board/recorder that captured 3 channels of 44k audio.

How should I be constructing my Vegas project? I assume using the default template for the original camera video & audio properties, but what do I do with the 44k audio? Set up another project for 44k, then render to 48k and add to the master video project?

    Thanks in advance

Leave your project properties set to 48K, drop the 44K on the timeline and don’t worry about it.
Vegas will take care of it for you automatically.
