user settings to new platform
I was curious if it is possible to use the same User settings on a PC based Adrenaline system to a MAC based Arenaline system. I am about to switch from PC to MAC on a freelance job, and I need to know if I can convert it over or if I need to make a new user setting on the MAC.

You can do it, they will transfer over. Avid always suggests that you don’t do it however. Especially if the system you are establishing is a newer version of AXP, MCA, etc.

just a tip i’ve picked up along the way.
1. buy a flash drive
2. drag your settings from every system you work on and put them in detailed labeled folders on your flash drive.
3. ALSO…TAKE SCREEN GRABS of your keyboard setup and desktop setup so if you come to a new system, you can just look at it and configure your new one.-xchriscollinsx
