Upon adding some elements to my DV-movie of 36 mins length, I get this error message:
Not enough memory available to create Audio data.
    522694 K required, 920422 K available

As you can see, the latter number is nearly doble what is required. What goes???
System info: AE6 on WinXP sp2 w/AMD64 3500, 1 gB RAM, 300+ gB disks, 512 mB RAM on OpenGL-card. No other programs are running when I attemt to do simple things like zooming the Timeline, making previews etc. and this message appears.

    Hi
Just to be sure…You did change AE memory limit within preferences, right?
If not the do it . This latter number indicates total physical memory on your system, but AE might not be allowed to use it all
    check it
if this doesnt help then dunno
