Useless error message – too much memory?
Upon adding some elements to my DV-movie of 36 mins length, I get this error message:
Not enough memory available to create Audio data.
522694 K required, 920422 K available
As you can see, the latter number is nearly doble what is required. What goes???
System info: AE6 on WinXP sp2 w/AMD64 3500, 1 gB RAM, 300+ gB disks, 512 mB RAM on OpenGL-card. No other programs are running when I attemt to do simple things like zooming the Timeline, making previews etc. and this message appears. -

Just to be sure…You did change AE memory limit within preferences, right?
If not the do it . This latter number indicates total physical memory on your system, but AE might not be allowed to use it all
check it
if this doesnt help then dunno
