The key combination Command Option Shift N (mac) Control Alt Shift N (PC)
creates a new folder in the Project panel as per usual but if you select a
viewer panel and use the same shortcut you’ll lock the present viewer panel
and create a new one docked next to it! Normally this would take two steps.
And if you want to have some fun just keep pressing the shortcut and see how
many viewer panels you can fit onto your monitor at once 😉

    Enjoy.

Speaking of useful shortcuts, does one exist for the Comp button on the edge of the timeline? It’s kind of a pain when you’re in a layer window and you have to find that little button to bring the Comp window back.

The backslash key (under the delete key) is what you’re looking for 🙂

Thanks! It was right under my nose (or should I say Delete key) the whole time!

Since when we’re talking about shortcuts and Steve Robert isn’t there? 😛

    Thx John.
