Use shape to blur
Howdy Gang,
I need to do something a bit simpler than I’m doing it now. I want a simple rectangle shape to be placed on one side of my screen, blurring out what moves under it. Right now, I’m using a series of duplicate layers and masks and blur fliters in order to get the desired look:
This, as you can imagine, is a bit of a pain, and seems bassackwards. I would like to just add a shape to my top layer in order to blur the stuff that’s below it without all the duplicating of layers. Any clues on how to do this?
Cheers,
