use pro9 veg files in pro 8??

#1) Open up the V9 Pro project and a new instance of V8 Pro.
Copy/paste from V9 to V8.
Be advised that some things (such as Track Motion keyframes) will NOT copy doing it this way.

#2) Try saving it as an EDL or AFF from V9 Pro.
There’s no guarantee that everything will import properly (eg. Generated Media), especially if you’ve used any of the new features of Pro 9.

If i copy and paste Vegas8 crashes… and the other suggestion ddin;t work either..

Can’t you just make in V8 whatever you have to make in V8, render it and bring this back into V9?

I think you missed the point.

I have a project that was saved as a pro9 veg file. I have recently had to revert back to pro8 and now I can’t use those pro9 veg projects in pro8.
