  • Use one expression to change all expressions

I have a comp with 400 identical layers, all of these layers have the same expression applied to the position property. I am experimenting with the results of this expression and would like to be able to easily change it instantly for all 400 layers.
    Is this possible?

Assuming that the expressions, even though identical, generate different results for each layer, you can select the position property of the layer with the modified expression, Edit > Copy Expression Only, select the other layers, Edit > Paste.

Another way would be to put the expression in a text layer and put an expression like this on each layer’s position property:

    eval(thisComp.layer(“master text”).text.sourceText.value)
