  USB Mics SAMSON C03U

  Can anyone advise us re USB mics? We liked the idea of using just laptop and USB mic for speech only interviews but are experiencing some problems with the setup.

  Firstly it seems we cannot hear any audio until we hit record (in Soundbooth) and secondly there is a long delay in playback and realtime which makes it impossible to speak and monitor output simultaneously. The laptop is a 1.7gHZ Celeron.

  I’ve approached SAMSON for support but have drawn a blank response and the agents here are merely a distribution centre.
