I received a KISTOR250USB drive from a client. I need to load it on my server but do not have the necessary cable to interface to USB from the drive. Can someone tell what cable I need and where I can find one? Thanks in advance for you help.

[Bob Tompkins] “I received a KISTOR250USB drive from a client.”

Many of the original KiStor modules use only FW800 and all modules except for the 750 have both connections.

I believe that aja uses the Micro B connector on the device side, with a Standard A USB on the Other, and these should be available at any computer store.

Thank you so much for your swift response. I believe I own four of every cable except that one.

I only started seeing those cables last year, they are relatively new,

The issue I had is that I have not seen or worked with any of the USB3 KiStor modules or the New dock with both USB3 and TB so I had to dig around to find out which connector Aja went with.

New KiStor drives have a USB 3 Micro B connection.

it is a standard USB3 micro cable but if your host computer doesn’t have USB3 connections you can also use a standard USB2 micro cable.
