    Hey guys,

New account in the community for my new job! I just landed a gig at a live event production house that doesn’t have the strongest grasp on video, and have been asked to make a camera / lens cheat sheet indicating what lens you need to get a MCU shot from a given distance… So far this has been pretty easy, until I got to the BlackMagic URSA Mini 4k camera. We don’t actually have any HD glass… At All… I’m working with Fujinon SD glass.

If you aren’t already aware, here’s the math:

Sensor Width (mm) Image Width (ft)
    ————————- = ————————
Focal Distance (mm) Camera Distance (ft)

What’s killing me is that I have no idea how much of the 21.12mm sensor is actually being used when the URSA is set to crop to 1080p. Does anyone know where this information can be found or how it could be calculated?
