    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a difference in UDF file format written on a PC to that written on a MAC?

When I write it on a PC the mac files are not recognisble… yet the pc can read the volume…

When the DVD is written on the mac in UDF the mac can read the data yet the PC on some OS’s chucks up errors – bad image file… incorrect dll blah blah blah…

    Any ideas?

Also is it possible to have a CDFS file system on a DVD-9?

    Dan,

The fact that you are putting files on a DVD in “Universal” Disc Format does not solve the PC/Mac cross platform issues. Files created on Mac computers have “resource forks” that must be maintained for the files to work correctly. Ususally this means burning DVDs containing Mac files on a Mac system using DVDSP or Toast.
