    Hello All,

I have several tapes recorded with a JVC HD201 in 50p on JVC HDV tapes. Timecode was properly recorded and can be seen when the tape is played back in the camera. But when importing the footage into Sony Vegas, the timecode gets reset in the final m2t. Is there a setting I have to change in the camera, in order for the actual timecode to come out via the Firewire?

    Thanks
    David

    PS: I have been capturing from a SONY FX1 without a problem…

Well this is getting more interesting. The timecode is displayed both in Sony Vegas and in HDVSplit, yet the captured file doesn’t have it.

Please, anybody ever used a JVC GY HD200 and Sony Vegas?

    Thanks
    David

Just an update. I found out this is a firmware issue.
