  • URGENT QT Rendering Error!

    This was mentioned a while ago. It seems Apple haven’t fixed it yet. Quicktime version 7.4.1 is bad. There is an error at the very end of rendering/exporting – Wasting a lot of peoples time.
    Everyone roll back to version 7.3.1 until someone on the cow mentions otherwise.

    7.4.1 = No render joy
    7.3.1 = Much render joy

    I have seen AE go down in flames just before a show last week (yikes), but have yet to see it happen in Premiere. I did export a QT animation sequence this morning, I wonder if this is consistent.

    Thanks for the warning…

    I, too have seen the dreaded “No Permissions” in AE with QT7.4.

    I hear that this version started implementing Digital Rights Management….

    Stay at V7.3.1

    Vincent:
    Thanks, I kind of figured that out. But what do you do if you purchased QT Pro? Can you call or email Apple to get the earlier version?
    Thanks,
    Larry
