Urgent!!! Please Help, Exporting XML from 5.1 to 5.04
I am exporting my sequence from 5.1 and have been successful before, but I cannot get any of the material to show up on my sequence, no pieces of my edit are in the sequence, why? What am I to do, I need to get this off, and this is the first time this has happened to me. Thanks

If you have been successful before, you have to ask yourself what you did different this time around. Check this link for the correct workflow and especially the “Warnings and Gotchas” at the end of the article.

I have tried it every which way, version 1 and version 2, with and without master clips, and nothing yet. Could it be with labeling of clips, or what? I can’t figure this one out.
It isn’t this hard or frustrating usually, what could I be doing wrong?Daniel Elder

Also, when I do the full project, some of my other sequences import fine, but the main two that I need don’t, this I don’t understand at all? Thanks for your help

That’s Murphy’s Law.
sorry, I can’t offer any more advice than Frank but when the files you don’t need import and the one’s you do need don’t, that is Murphy’s Law at play.
Is there any difference between the ones that do import? Are they on different drives? tracks? settings, what? There has to be a reason some do and some don’t.

Well, here is how I handled my situation for people who have this odd occurance. First, I took all of the files and put them into a single sequence, pre-composing or nesting em, however you wish to call it. Second, I did a media manage on those files and that set up the new project file. Then I closed down the current project file and opened the new one. Finally I exported out the new sequences from the media managed files, and that did the trick, but the original problem will baffle me for a while, I don’t understand why this happend
