    Hi everybody!
I got a MacBook Pro with 2GB of RAM and around 80GB of free space.
The problem is that sometimes when I try to render my composition in the rendered video only the first frame on the shots is rendered, and the tracked shots even move due to the tracking, but always showing first frame only. Even with RAM preview sometimes shots become static.
In Memory and cache I put these values: Maximum usage of memory 120%, Max. Dimension RAM cache 70% and disk cache 3000GB.
How can I optimize memory to let After Effects render my compositions? (ps. I’m workin with 1080p shots for I short, I gotta solve this problem)
    Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the answer, but I imported my footage with iMovie from a Sony HDR-SR11 and I’m quite sure the codec of the imported shots is Apple Intermediate Codec. However I’m now rendering with Render Queue and the problem seems to be solved.

Other two questions I hope someone will answer 🙂

What’s the best codec for editing in After Effects or for general video editing?

Is there a way to convert without loss of quality a shot from interlaced to progressive?

    Thanks again,
    Fabrizio
