Urgent Invigorator help!!! Please!!

I’ve downloaded a mercedes, audi and a BMW logo from http://www.allthelogos.com.
The are eps vector files. I open them in AI and save them as .ai files.
I then try to import them into 3d invig in ae6.5 pro. (Mac 10.3.9 – all up to date – latest versions)
But for some reason, they come in either, as some completly different shape, or b, with thousands of lines covering the logo.
The only way it will work, is if I import it with no colours and as one solid. But then I can’t added the correct colours to the particular areas.

The bottom line is I need these as 3d logos.

The problem lies in the eps files – they are not made with Invigorator in mind. Invigorator artwork needs to be discreetly seperated as objects so that each object can be extruded, bevelled and have materials applied.
The BMW logo, for example, has several problems. The letter B is made up of 3 paths, but the two “holes” in the B are not actually holes in the outer path, they are black objects placed on top of the B. Invigorator can’t extrude a B from three seperate Illustrator objects, so you need to make one compound path that has holes cut out of the main outer path with the two inner paths.
Your best bet is to seperate elements in Illustrator that you need to move or add materials to individually, create compound paths where necessary, place them on independent layers and then import to Invigorator.
