Hi all, I’m in a bind. I’m 80% done with a wonderful eDVD project for my best client, and just found out that they are rolling out locked down PCs in their org. So interactual is now a NON STARTER. Is there anything out there that does this, either via web interface or interface into the OS: launch PDFs, Launch POWERPOINTs, launch weblinks. I have searched the web and it’s really hard to sort thru the google globs. I am so desperate I will even buy a MacIntel if required. Thanks!

Dod you need to access the dvd-video from a computer, or do you only need to dispaly/link to ROM content? If the latter, can’t you build a stand-alone program (executable) that runs right from the disc, using Flash or Director? (the latter can also access the DVD-video, but it’s quite buggy in that regard). We build stand-alone DVD-ROM presentaions all the time that require no installation on the user’s computer, and have embedded PDFs, powerpoints, etc.
