urgent HDV – DV settings
I got HDV footage that i edit in a dv 10 uncompressed seq.
I shoot dv beacuse there a lot of graphics involved, that were made in dv. The export is for dvd SD. So thats the reason i used dv settings.
The footage looks good, but flickers espacialy when used speed changes and slowmows.
What do i have to change to make it look ok.
the monitors are down, so i cant realy see whats wrong.
(i have to burn to dvd to watch on tv.What should i do?

There is a wonderful diagram in your FCP manual that shows how to use a DV camera or deck to connect a TV to your Mac. That’s a good place to start.

There is no such thing as “dv 10 uncompressed”. DV is compressed, and is 8 bits. 10 bit uncompressed is not DV.

the DV codec is not very good for graphics. The compression scheme looses a lot of the color information. If your graphics are designed for DV, they may not translate that well to an uncompressed timeline.
