    Hi,

I’m currently experiencing a bizzar issue with Da Vinici. I am importing the edl of the reels of a feature film (shot on Red, offline on Avid, transfered using file16 edls) and for one of the reels davinici seems to have flipped the frame on about 25% of the clips so that they are upside down.

I’ve had a look through the edl at the effected area but cant notice anything out of the ordinary.

Anyone got any ideas of a solution (as the best I can come up with is getting the colourist to grade while doing a handstand)?

Hi, are the source images conformed by Resolve the red r3ds? Check the clips in the media pool, right click and look for H flip and V flip, these may be set by the red camera metadata as the would be for a stereo project. You can easily deselect this if needed.

If it’s not this, you can use resolve to flip the image, check format input tab.

Thanks for that – it worked like a charm!
