Upscaling 720p noise problem
Hi,
I am trying to upscale some P2 footage from 720p into 1080p. I’ve tried using Apple Compressor to do so, and when the shots are moving then things look decent and it appears like it could pass QC. But on the static shots I see plenty of noise. I’ve tried different settings and the noise removal filter on Compressor, but it just doesn’t seem to eliminate enough noise that makes it passable. Is there a better method to go about doing this, software to help with the noise problem, or a system that would give little as noise as possible?
