Upscale in FCP or Color
Hi all
We have a film with a mixture of HD and SD, which will be output as HD for the festival circuit as well as TV. It has been cut in FCP at full res and is being graded in Color, then back to FCP for final online.
The SD element is mainly archive from the 80s, and the question is whether we upscale it in Color and render out as HD, or do we render it out native and upscale in FCP.
Is there a difference in upscaling quality between the two programs.Cheers
