Uprez from 720p to 1080p
Hello,
sorry, if I am in the wrong forum, but can not find one where my question would fit in.
I have a lot of footage clips (15-30 sec long) shot with the HVX 200 720p/24. I talked with a company, but they would be only interested in 1080p shots.
I know, there is some software around, but is there any hardware converter around doing an excellent job? I sent an email to the maker of Teranex VC 100, they did not even reply!If, I would have to be the best possible quality.
Any suggestions?

well you can go as far as you like.
if your family is very rich and money means nothing to you.
buy a snell&wilcox alchemist PH.C but i guess it will not fit your budget 😉the AJA FS-1 sounds like a good solution for you.
or maybe a Folsom ImagePRO HD.if it’s for one job only don’t forget that a local rental company can help you out.
but maybe the best solution for you is patience and good software like Compressor Episode Squeeze and many many more.

I had work done with the Alchemist before… Conversions from PAL to NTSC.One more question…
I suppose the original file (DVCPro HD) would be the best to use?
Rather than the Prores 422 HQ? -
Although i have not been working with DVCPRO-HD that much
i say the general role of thumb is keep your generation step’s as low as possible. DVCPRO-HD is the wayto go for yougrt
