Hello,
i recently got my 16mm films for a short scanned to HD. I have been editing from a telecine transfer to digibeta captured in final cut. I wanted to know if anybody knew of a method to reconnect my media so that the digibeta footage is replaced by the new HD media (they have matching timecodes).

Make sure they have the same REEL NUMBER. Then duplicate the sequence, take the low res offline, relink to the HD files. You might then have to change your sequence settings to match…make them ProREs and HD.
