Upgrading to CC from Premiere Pro 4
I plan to upgrade to Premiere Pro CC,but I still have a Sony Z1U camera in great shape for which I use Adobe “On Location” as a digital backup for the tape. Since On location is gone from CC, do I have to buy Cc”new” (rather than upgrade and lose On Location)?

You cannot buy CC only rent.

Yes. I was asking if I will lose the use of PP4/On Location in the process of upgrading. Usually you have to remove the current Adobe version when you upgrade to a newer version.

It left my Copy of CS6 on the system when I upgraded
