  • Upgrading simple HTML pages.

Hi, I’m very new to Web Design. I have a set of simple pages produced by exporting HTML data from a family tree program’s PAF files. The pages have no doctype information in them at all

I’m trying to make a more useful site from these pages and hope someone will tell me the best way to add header information to all the pages in one go, maybe as a batch process or something similar,

    Kind regards,
    Lila

Notepad++ has a good “find and replace” tool and it’s free.

You can search inside a selection, entire document or all the files in a folder.

    I hope this helps

Thanks for that. Notepad++ looks good. I’ll have a practice with it.

    Kind regards,
    Lila
