Upgrading OS affects FCP and other apps?
Finally looking at upgrading from OS10.4.11 to OS10.5 (which I bought about 6 months ago)… just wondering if I should do an upgrade or a clean install.
I’m running FCP 6.0.6 and adobe CS4 and a bunch of plug ins etc… should I do a complete reinstall of the OS and my applications or is it really necessary?

For the “point” updates I don’t. But going to 10.5 is a new OS. I would most certainly reinstall everything.
Clone your existing drive first. If things go badly you can always go back.
