  • Upgrading Media Composer to latest version problem

    Hi all,

    I’m getting this message when trying to start Media Composer after upgrading to the latest version “This software was released past your contract expiration date. Please go to Avid support website for more details.” I renewed (Paid) my contract for another year in November. I did go to the website but as always the case it’s not really helping. I need to get this sorted rather quickly as I now have no avid so any help on this would be great.

    Easy peasey.

    Deactivate then reactive through AppMan. The server, license and My Avid need to sync up at least once a year Dan.

    If you have a dongle then blast it with the dongle updater located in your My Avid.
