Hello, this is my first post here. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on what I need to upgrade on my system to make my computer run faster. Lately I have had some insane render times on FCP7, ranging up to 33 hours (albiet for a 56 min. sequence). I am willing to spend what it takes get a machine which can readily handle 4k RED footage more efficiently.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

if you need to upgrade the mac pro go to https://eshop.macsales.com/ and look around or get advice from them. great company great prices great support.

that said I’d wait for the next mac pro or just buy an imac or macbook pro.
