  Upgrades from C100 and/or FS100?

  Hey all –

  I teach at a graduate marketing and advertising program (the VCU Brandcenter) and we are looking to upgrade our current HD cameras. One thing to note is that we are NOT a film school, nor are we creating things for broadcast. Our visual storytelling work is for class or client presentations and student portfolios. Currently we have Canon XC15’s, Sony FS100’s and Canon C100’s. I have been asked to advise on a logical upgrade to the C100 and/or FS100. The ability to do 4K or 8K in addition to HD is necessary as is XLR audio inputs. Any advice on where I should be looking? Cost is a factor, so the C100 (original) price range is a good place to start.
