  Upgraded PC with stuttering playback.

  I have just upgraded my PC & done a clean reinstall on Windows 7 64 bit as well as swithing to version 11 at the same time. I’m running a i7 920 processor with 12 GB of ram.

  I’m finding that playing from the timeline using Vegas pro 11 results in stuttering playback & sometimes it only previews about 9 fps even when preview window is set to 1/4. The same clips will play without a problem using WMP or other players on the machine.

  Checking the properties of a clip it tells me that it’s AVC 1920×1080 upper field first.
  I have a gaggit on the desktop & it tells me when the PC’c processor cores are working hard nut theie not. The only otherc thing that I can think of is that I accidently changed opacity etc for the entite timeline, but I don’t think that this is the case.

  Any other ideas? Incidently this is the first time using Version 11. As far as I can see we were better of with the stabilized that was in version 10.
