I just upgraded my Mac G5 to FPC new upgrade. I have a 2 hour and 15 min. project that I used the new Compressor settings under DVD – the best digital for 150 minutes to compress. When I import that into DVD Studio Pro it does nothing.

I think this is a problem in what I am doing in Compressor and not DVD Studio Pro. Should I be using the QT stettings in Compressor instead of the DVD settings and which one?

    Rozanne,

Question: Is the file not showing up in DVDSP or is it there and just will not play?

You should check to see if your “compressed” video file compressed properly by opening that .m2v in Quicktime. It should play the video (minus the audio). If you look at the QT movie inspector the Format should be: MPEG2 Video, 640 X 480 pixels.

If the video file is working fine in QT then it should work in DVDSP.
