I have not used Resolve for just over a year – so I’m still on R8.

I just seemingly successfully updated to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard.

Should I just jump head first into R10?

Is R10 pretty stable? Is it close to its full release? I’m not really sure where in the process I’m stepping into…

Any recommendations if I should go the safe route and upgrade to R9 or is R10 pretty safe at this point – and I might as well do it now instead of upgrading to 9, then a week from now going to 10.

    Thanks

R10 is in RC2 state and its great as it is but its not totally final.
Are you working in a client based couch environment ?
    Then go 9.1.6
Are you sitting with it alone and have no hard deadline ?
Go R10 … its fun to explore the new stuff and find out if your system is up for it.

Or do what I do and run both, you just need to rename the app into something else than its original name and install the other one.
Be aware that you might run into Digital Powerhouse incompatibilities which might affect RED performance

Nope, no client other than myself. No RED either.

Thanks for the advice… I think I’ll give it a go!

Sacha have you found a way to fix the digital powerhouse/Red issue that results from installing 9.1.6 and 10b3 on the same partition?
