The two systems I suggested will allow you to use FCP 6 today and FCP X tomorrow with no additional cost of hardware. Both the 2008 and 2010 Mac Pro will run Snow Leopard (for FCP 6) and Yosemite (for FCP X). You could dual boot and use both as needed.

That’s good to know and probably explains why their SSD’s cost more.
